Check front diff seals for leaks by rubbing finger under where the cv joints go in. CHECK air box for dirt, take filter off check throttle body.

Suzuki ATV Forum. 1988 Suzuki Quadrunner 250 LT4WD - No Fire. I have rebuild this motor and carb, and it still will not fire. I'll put new rings and piston, spin the vales (i don't have lapping compound), and re timed it. I tried blowing into the gas tank, to see if the pump was bad.

A few things come to mind that could be issues. The issue with possibly contaminated fuel is a concern. Obviously, your King Quad doesn’t have a carb like your generator, instead has an injector . There is a crude “filter” (sock) that will restrict larger debris, but fine contaminants can pass through. To answer directly, yes! They are reliable. Now with that said, I still have the original Hinda Foreman from 1985, I have changed the battery only 3 times! My Honda's have been very very reliable. Owners manual has no mention of fuel filter that I can find. In all probability I will be ordering parts on line- Any reccomendations pos or neg would be appreciated. Working on a quad for a friend, new to these. 2000 King Quad 300 Unit shows 1100 miles. Low compression, tore down, needs piston & rings, cyl bored, rockers & cam worn bad.
