All you need to do to use that G3 stock is get some ~100 grit sand paper and sand the little nylon washer on the recoil spring retainer so that it fits nicely in the cetme bolt. The C308 is built off of a mishmash of Cetme and HK parts. Those parts are compatible, but need more fitment and finish to mesh properly. Fit and finish is something Century is notoriously poor at. The PTRs are built from the ground up off of surplussed HK G3 tooling, if I recall correctly, and it shows.
