The polarities remain the same through configs. The polarities that you see in the corner of each mod slot is the same for every loadout you have on that frame. So you would either have to polarize a different slot to fit the mods in, or get a copy of the frame like you said. Nope they all share the same polarities the only exception is an aura ...
