Got a grid heater delete and i have a code stored in the ECM but no check engine light. 2002 Dodge Ram 2500 Sport - Stock with Edge CTS, Fass, and BD enhanced 47RE with triple disc converter. Most likely due to the ECM cycling the grid while the engine is running, and expecting to see a large draw across the battery.The code is from the relay unplugged. The ECM is not seeing the relay. Try disconnecting the main power cable for the relay instead. The relay will still work. Just no longer supply power to the grid heater. I see no sensors for the grid heater circuit.
